DESCRIPTION:Immunisation Coalition\, in collaboration with Inovating\, is pleased to announce the Primary Care Infectious Diseases meeting in Sydney\, on 19 October. This hybrid event is specifically designed for General Practitioners and Nurses who immunise/vaccinate against infectious diseases. \nTopics include: \n• Addressing vaccine hesitancy/fatigue; what’s the plan Stan?\n• Understanding long COVID-19: diagnosis and management\n• Vaccination errors: your go-to guide\n• Looking forward at seasonal respiratory vaccination rates – Influenza and RSV\n• Q-fever: epidemiology\, symptoms \, preparedness\, testing and management options\n• Should monoclonal antibodies be added to the NIP? For and Against – Debate\n• Use of software tools to identify and recall under vaccinated patients\n• Equity of vaccines: who is missing out and what can be done? \nThis program has pending approval from the RACGP for the following:\n• Educational Activity in CPD Hours – 3\n• Reviewing Performance in CPD Hours – 2 \nTotal: 5 CPD Hours \nOnsite attendance is limited to 100 seats\, while online participation is unlimited. \nMorning tea\, lunch and afternoon tea is provided. \nClick here for more information and to register.
