DESCRIPTION:Hosted by GPEx with funding from the Australian Government – Department of Health\, Disability and Ageing. \nGeneral practitioners\, practice staff and Aboriginal healthcare workers play a vital role in promoting the importance of early detection of bowel cancer by encouraging and endorsing participation in the National Bowel Cancer Screening Program. This practical workshop explores bowel cancer screening in people who are hesitant to screen. You will engage in case discussions to explore the barriers to screening and some of the enablers that you or a practice team can implement to encourage screening within your practice. Get your team started on an audit for bowel cancer screening within your clinic and identify practice improvements.
