DESCRIPTION:Practice nurses\, GPs and other primary healthcare professionals can attend this interactive course to receive comprehensive training in the application\, measurement and interpretation of expiratory spirometry in general practice. \nLearning outcomes: \n\nIdentify the clinical indications where spirometry is recommended.\nDemonstrate the ability to correctly perform a spirometry test\, using role play and peer review.\nInterpret spirometry results to differentiate between respiratory conditions\, such as asthma and COPD.\nAssess your own practice quality assurance procedures for spirometry.\n\nAccreditation: \n\nThis activity has been approved by RACGP for 4.5 hours of Educational Activities and 1.5 hours of Reviewing Performance.
