DESCRIPTION:Presented by Black Dog Institute\, this blended learning workshop\, aims to increase health professionals’ skill and confidence in taking a detailed suicide history and developing a collaborative management plan to increase the safety of people planning suicide. \nThe workshop provides practical tools for health professionals managing the full spectrum of suicide risk presentations including the acute suicidal crisis\, care after a suicide attempt and assisting families experiencing suicide bereavement. \nThis program combines online interactive sessions\, case discussion and self-directed learning modules. \n\nOnline\, self-directed course (1.5 hrs)\, followed by online workshop (5 hrs) (6.5hrs total)\nAccreditation available:\n\n5 CPD hours incl. 5.5 hrs Education Activity and 1 hr Reviewing Performance\n(RACGP and ACRRM)\nMental Health CPD with GPMHSC (GPs) 6.5 hours CPD (psychologists).\n\n\n\nClick here to register.
