Event for health professionals

Staff in various care settings providing support to people living with dementia, including GPs, practice nurses, Aboriginal health practitioners, allied and other health professionals are invited to this workshop presented by Dementia Australia and funded by Murray PHN.

Using virtual reality and avatar technology, Dine with Ted is an immersive workshop that enables participants to see the dining experience from two perspectives: as a care worker and through the eyes of a person living with dementia. This workshop enhances your knowledge of how food, environment and support can greatly influence the dining experience for a person living with dementia along with practical improvement ideas.
