Cancer is a word that describes multiple diseases that place a great burden on the community. While significant progress has been made, one in three men and one in four women will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 75. Poorer outcomes have persisted for some cancer types and for people living in some regional areas (Victorian cancer plan 2020-2024).
