Mental health promotion two-day masterclass | Online and Swan Hill

Prevention United is a national registered charity focused on the prevention of mental health conditions and promotion of wellbeing. They are hosting a free masterclass for those whose primary role is to promote mental health or prevent mental illness within their organisation, community or wider society.
The training will be delivered over two sessions and attendance at both is mandatory:
- Wednesday 3 December 2025 – Online session via Zoom (2-3.30pm)
- Wednesday 10 December 2025 – In-person session in Swan Hill (10am-3pm at the Swan Hill town hall).
Learning outcomes:
- What is mental health and what influences our mental wellbeing?
- What is mental health promotion and why is it important?
- What works to promote mental wellbeing and prevent mental health conditions?
- How do you design and implement effective mental health promotion programs?
- What is the role of social policy in promotion and prevention?
- How do we build a mental health promotion system?
- How can I apply this knowledge to my role?
This training is funded by the Wellbeing Promotion Office at the Victorian Department of Health and the Loddon Mallee Public Health Unit.
