Mindframe is a national program that supports safe and non-stigmatising communication about suicide, mental health concerns and alcohol and other drugs.

This workshop is for individuals and organisations who have a role to play in suicide intervention and prevention and will cover the Mindframe guidelines, relationship building, reducing risk, media strategies and communications.

Workshop aims:

• Ensuring strong application of Mindframe guidelines
• Supporting local organisations and sectors to build collaborative relationships
• Supporting local organisations and sectors that work with the media
• Reducing risk of inappropriate reporting and communication
• Empowering local stakeholders to make informed decisions with suicide prevention messages
• Assisting in coordination of media strategies and communications
