When community palliative care meets general practice | Bendigo

Community palliative care provides support and specialised medical care to manage pain, symptoms and emotional distress outside of hospital. GPs play a key role as the main point of contact, delivering consistent care and personalised assistance.

General practitioners and GP registrars are invited to attend this education and networking event. Dinner will be provided and there will be plenty of opportunity for GPs to network with peers, palliative care team members and Murray PHN staff.

Presenters: team members from the Loddon Mallee Regional Palliative Care Consortium will provide information about services available to GPs and their patients as well as outlining referral processes.
