Murray PHN has a role in working with the Victorian Department of Health and the Australian Department of Health and Aged Care to support primary care services in local emergency situations that includes bushfires and pandemics. This may include helping to coordinate the necessary staff required to field primary care clinics or calling on local professionals to act as a temporary workforce in affected general practices and other primary care providers.

GPs, nurses, mental healthcare providers and pharmacists are encouraged to register by completing the short online form.
By providing your details, you are consenting to Murray PHN sharing your details with relevant government organisations, if required, and who may require more information and credentials from you. Registering your interest does not automatically guarantee you will be called on to volunteer in an emergency situation, but registering is the best way to get involved.
