Cancer Education Programs – Facilitator Training | Online

Cancer Council Victoria provides comprehensive facilitator training to health professionals to enable them to successfully deliver the Managing Cancer and Cancer Wellness programs within their health service.

Our one-day training session is interactive and covers:
• Key concepts and benefits of the programs
• Overview of adult learning principles and facilitation techniques
• Program planning, promotion and recruitment strategies
• A facilitator manual and program resources.
• Networking, professional development and regional/yearly planning opportunities.

At the completion of training, facilitators are provided access to Cancer Council resources and ongoing support to ensure the delivery of successful programs in their health service.

Target audience: Nurse Managers, Nurse Coordinators, Clinical Nurses, Allied Health professionals, Radiation Therapists, Health Promotion Officers, Social Workers
