Latest medical imaging for prostate cancer diagnosis, and utility of imaging in prostate cancer follow-up – a guide for GPs

FreeUrologist Dr Fairleigh Reeves will provide a summary of the diagnostic tools available for prostate cancer, with a focus on imaging modalities and their role in the detection of prostate cancer. Dr Reeves will also cover the changing landscape of prostate cancer follow-up in the context of availability MRI and PSMA PET. Case studies will be used for context.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of this activity, participants will be able to:
1. Summarise the diagnostic imaging available for prostate cancer.
2. Identify which patients need further work-up following prostate cancer treatment, and what the most suitable imaging modality would be.
