The National Allergy Council in collaboration with the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) is hosting a webinar on Urticaria presented by Dr Alan Baker. This webinar is offered as part of allergy assist, a free national service that provides rural doctors with advice within 48 hours from clinical immunology/allergy specialists, as well as allergy education opportunities.

Topics covered:
1. Types of urticaria: acute, physical, and chronic
2. Common causes of urticaria
3. Investigation and treatment of urticaria

Learning outcomes:
1. Understand the different types and potential causes of urticaria
2. Describe the most important considerations in the assessment and investigation of urticaria
3. Apply a step-wise approach to treatment and what to consider/initiate prior to seeking specialist input.
