Murray PHN is seeking applications from suitably skilled people who are interested in joining one of its Community Advisory Councils. Advisory member expertise, local knowledge and connection to networks provide strategic value to Murray PHN by giving the organisation and its Board information about place-based, practice and system level improvements.
We are currently looking to fill four vacancies: in Central Victoria (two vacancies), Goulburn Valley (one vacancy) and North East Victoria (one vacancy). We would particularly welcome applications from people who identify as male and those with interest, experience or connections in alcohol and other drugs. Regionally, we also encourage applications that align with the following:
- Central Victoria: people who live north of Bendigo, and those who have interest, experience or connections in LGBTIQA+ diverse communities and youth or child health.
- Goulburn Valley: people who have interest, experience or connections in LGBTIQA+ and culturally and linguistically diverse communities, youth or child health, after hours medical care, and carers.
- North East: people who live east of Albury/Wodonga and in the areas of Bright and Mansfield and who have interest, experience or connections in health workforce and/or carers.
