Murray PHN is providing $1 million in funding through its General Practice Investment Strategy, to support primary care to deliver services to their communities. 

Local general practices, including medical services in Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations, are invited to apply for up to $100,000 to adopt enhanced models of care that also strengthen the health system in supporting a multidisciplinary team.

The funding will be awarded to up to 20 general practices to the value of $50,000-$100,000 to resource general practices to implement or embed models of care focusing on cardiovascular disease (CVD), respiratory disease and/or diabetes complex care coordination, including early intervention.

The Request for Proposals is open now. Applications close on Thursday 20 February 2025. 

Request for proposal documents and how to register 

The Request for Proposal will be accessible via the web-based e-procurement portal eprocure (also known as Tender Search). To review the Request for Proposal your organisation must first register with eProcure. Registration is free and the eprocure registration portal can be accessed via eprocure.com.au. The Login/Register link is in the top right corner of that webpage.  

Only registered users will be able to download the Request for Proposal documents and respond to the opportunity through eProcure. Make sure you click the ‘classification link’ appropriate to the types of health services you are interested in providing.
