Chronic conditions of the foot | Albury

FreeThis workshop is being delivered by Benchmarque Group, in collaboration with Murray PHN, and will help to build a practical skillset for foot assessment that enables a healthcare practitioner to be competent and confident in chronic conditions of the foot basic care.
This workshop is suitable for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health workers and practitioners, allied health workers, enrolled and registered nurses, nurse practitioners, GPs and practice managers.
Learning outcomes:
- Safely perform a basic foot care assessment
- Determine foot care requirements
- Prepare and use basic equipment and materials
- Document foot, skin and nail care according to organisational requirements
- Make appropriate referrals in a timely manner.
The course is supported by funding from the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care under the Chronic Disease Support Project.
