Closing the CKD detection gap: the importance of uACR testing | Shepparton

Murray PHN is hosting this workshop in collaboration with Kidney Health Australia to help GPs learn how to navigate the elements of a Kidney Health Check and who should have one.

Dr Anil Xavier will explain the vital role of a uACR test in the diagnosis and ongoing management of chronic kidney disease (CKD), outline which medication therapy supports reduction of albuminuria to reduce a patient’s risk of progression and cardiovascular events, and how to create a plan for the ongoing management of a patient with CKD with albuminuria.
