Eating disorders: The context, your role, and tools to support you | Online

GPs, nurses and other health professionals involved in the response to and care of people at risk of or experiencing eating disorders are invited to attend this webinar, hosted by National Eating Disorders Collaboration (NEDC) and Eating Disorders Victoria (EDV) in collaboration with Murray PHN, Eastern Melbourne PHN, South Eastern Melbourne PHN, Gippsland PHN and North Western Melbourne PHN.

During the webinar, attendees will hear from the NEDC and EDV teams about:

• The context for eating disorders in Victoria, including the stepped system of care, Victorian Eating Disorders Strategy, and the National Eating Disorders Strategy
• The role of GPs and PHNs in preventing, identifying, responding and providing treatment for people experiencing eating disorders
• The core principles of treatment for eating disorders
• Referral pathways within Victoria, including updates on new initiatives and programs
• Services and supports available through Eating Disorders Victoria
• Training, tools and resources to support you in your role.
