Mental health in residential aged care: Holistic care and alternative therapies | Shepparton

This community of practice event is for primary mental health service providers and clinicians providing services into residential aged care homes and to residential aged care staff.

Attendees can hear from those working in the field to explore how basic concepts and foundations can be applied in everyday practice for:

  • Art therapy – presented by Maggie Wells, Art Therapist at Echuca Regional Health
  • Music therapy – presented by Catherine Threlfall, Music Therapist
  • Virtual reality therapy – presented by Shane Roulston, founder of NeuronsVR
  • Spiritual care – presented by Rachel Wass, CEO of Meaningful Ageing Australia.
