Oral cancer screening and prevention in primary healthcare settings | Online

Cases of oral cancer which affect the lip, tongue, gums, floor of the mouth and palate, continue are on the rise in Victoria.

Lack of awareness and limited access to prevention and/or screening services means that many patients are presenting with advanced-stage oral cancer.

Victorian PHNs together with Dental Health Victoria, invite GPs and practice nurses to this statewide webinar to learn more about oral cancer screening, prevention, and early detection in primary healthcare settings.

The webinar will discuss risk factors, pathology, screening procedures, referral and management information, provide insight into trends, share case studies and experiences of people with oral cancer.
