Rural Health Breakfast Series – Developmental concerns in children | Shepparton

The Goulburn Valley Regional Training Hub and University of Melbourne Department of Rural Health is pleased to introduce the Rural Health Breakfast Series – a new initiative bringing together GPs and GP registrars through education, shared learning and local connection.

Led by Dr Herath Wataliyadda, General Paediatrician and Dr Jimmy Tseng, GP, the inaugural session will explore practical topics including:

• Recognising developmental red flags
• What paediatricians would find useful to include in referral
• Useful assessment tools and questionnaires
• Referral pathways and what GPs can do while families are waiting
• Local psychology, autism assessment, and other community services
• Practical resources for GPs and families
• Common challenges and an opportunity for discussion and Q&A
