The Viral Hepatitis in Primary Care webinar series gives primary care workers a comprehensive, practical overview of viral hepatitis. Over two webinars, primary care workers will learn about their role in preventing, identifying, and managing hepatitis B, C, and D in their communities.
Webinar 1 – Foundations of hepatitis C and advanced liver disease
6:30PM-8:30PM AEST, 2 September 2026
Learn about identifying key populations, testing indicators, and epidemiology around hepatitis C, as well as an overview on the impact of unmanaged viral hepatitis on the development of fibrosis and advanced liver disease.
Webinar 2 – Exploring hepatitis B and D in primary care
7:00PM-9:00PM AEDT, 14 October 2026
Continuing on from the first webinar, this session will demonstrate how national viral hepatitis guidelines and decision-making tools can be utilised in practice across testing, management, treatment, and referral pathways. Incorporating guidance and case studies on hepatitis B and D, this series conclusion provides a comprehensive summary of the key considerations for primary care workers when it comes to viral hepatitis management.
